Tony Wolters hits go-ahead RBI in 13th as Rockies beat Cubs in National League Wild Card Game
Colorado Rockies catcher Tony Wolters hit a pinch-hit go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 13th inning Tuesday help the Rockies defeat the Chicago Cubs 2-1 in the National League Wild Card Game.
Wolters entered the affair in the bottom of the 12th inning as part of a double-switch. In the next frame, he lasered one down the middle that plated Trevor Story and advanced the Rockies into the National League Division Series. They will square off against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 on Thursday.
