Twins fire manager Paul Molitor
The Minnesota Twins announced on Tuesday that manager Paul Molitor will not be brought back for the 2019 season.
The Twins were a disappointment in 2018 after the club went 85-77 and reached the postseason as the second AL Wild Card. They finished 78-84 in 2018. The club offered him the opportunity to stay with the club in a different capacity. No word on if he will accept. Molitor compiled a 305-343 record in four season with the Twins.
The Twins finished as our 20th-ranked team in 2018.
