Jimmy Paredes is not in the starting lineup tonight for the Orioles as they face the White Sox. Matt Wieters will DH and bat clean up while Caleb Joseph starts at catcher.
What It Means:
This is just a day off for Paredes. Unfortunately he'll miss out on this juicy matchup against White Sox starter John Danks, who gives up a .398 wOBA to righties. Matt Wieters has struggled in only 15 plate appearances against lefties but this is a good opportunity for him to get back on track.
