Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitcher

Justin Verlander ($12,000 on FanDuel): With just seven games on Thursday's main slate, Justin Verlander is the night's top hurler by leaps and bounds. His matchup against Oakland is nothing special, but Verlander can crush it in just about any spot, entering tonight with a pristine 2.99 SIERA, 34.9% strikeout rate, 4.8% walk rate. In his two starts against Oakland this season, he's posted 52 and 61 FanDuel points. If all that wasn't enough, the Athletics are showing a slate-low 3.46 implied total, and the Astros are massive -290 favorites.
